We hired Cani Building Services to replace the front stairs and pathway of our Victorian home with granite pavers in the spring of 2025. Dan is a force of nature, as anyone who’s met him will agree. He and his team were always dedicated, hard-working and good natured. I would recommend Dan and his team to anyone, especially for a big renovation project like this, which involves working with other parties, such as structural engineers, kitchen designers and installers, as he works with them and takes away most of the pain. The quality of the work is excellent and he always came back to complete the snag list (even 3x for our thresholds).

AVOID. Let us down very badly. Came to site all smiles and agreed a price and shook hands. We confirmed the price and scope of works in writing and he confirmed back to start and finish over the bank holiday. Our client had arranged to stay elsewhere. The day before he was due to start, he cancelled with a lame excuse. Totally left us looking very stupid and the client very upset. Do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

Spencer at Pocock Developments project managed our work very well. From the fully detailed quote, to advising on any pricing changes and providing some extra plastering work - got to say everything was managed smoothly and transparently, and the one hiccup over the roof tiles was put right quickly. Plus we appreciated Myron and Ivan's eye for detail and managing their work around the weather. Our two dormers look great, so thanks Pocock Development and we'd definitely use them again ????
