The work itself was very good, and while on the job, they were quick, consistent and polite. Problems occurred with finishing off and a number of issues are still outstanding. There were mitigating circumstances - serious illness in the company - but communications with us have been erratic and we are left with a few outstanding issues that we have to deal with ourselves.

Apart from causing £350. worth of damage to my roof and electrics so far and ignoring my emails questioning why they didn't tell me. The job was done quickly and virtually to the agreed specification. Would I recommend them? Probably not just for not coming clean about the damage and not communicating. I had a quote from them for a fence which I was going to take up, also a couple of other jobs to quote for but I am now looking elsewhere. I have no confidence they will tell me if something goes wrong.

I’ve been living in England for 11 years, where I’ve gained extensive knowledge of building materials, principles, and types of construction work. I mainly focus on general construction, but my specialty is complete bathroom renovations — from total demolition to final finishing (plastering, drywall installation, floor screeding, plumbing, minor electrical work, ceramic and porcelain tiling, bathroom installations, painting). I am also a professional in insulating external walls with polystyrene, mesh, and various types of plaster (mineral, acrylic, silicate). Similar to bathroom renovations, I am an expert in insulation as well. I have extensive experience in Poland and am gaining more practice in England, though this type of work is still less common here. So far, I have completed several full home renovations. As mentioned, I have no issues with painting (using a paint sprayer), plastering, radiator replacements or repositioning, minor electrical work (the only thing I don't do is laying carpets). Depending on the type and scale of the job, I can adjust the number of people needed to complete the project if necessary. I hired this contractor to install laminate flooring and skirting boards, and I am extremely disappointed with the result. The finish looks amateurish, with visible gaps and poorly cut edges. To make matters worse, the price was initially agreed at £300, but once the work was 'finished,' he demanded £400 without prior notice. Since then, he has stopped responding to my calls and messages for weeks regarding necessary repairs. Save yourself the stress and hire a real professional instead.
