Rubbertech is a family run business which specialises in flat roofs. And waterproofing them with firestone EPDM Rubber membrane. Most flat roofs can be done in one single sheet with no need for any joins. The membrane has a life expectancy of 40+ years. I have public liability insurance upto 1 million pounds from mmac and if you want the policy number please ask and I will be happy to provide it

Very unhappy with work completed. Unsafe working practices by team. Roof has more leaks than prior to works starting Damage to asbestos panels Poor workmanship Optimal roofing now ignoring my attempts to contact them. I have had a full house refurb using many contractors and have never experienced anything resembling the appalling standards set by Optimal or their lack of attempt to resolve . DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am now 1k out of pocket and will have to pay another contractor to fix damage caused

The job was posted on 22nd July 2025 and Wade Ellis of Ellis Roofing And Building Ltd responded 2 days later. After a survey, I received a quote on 26th July, which was accepted. A skip arrived on 29th July and the work commenced next day. The job was completed on 1st August. The bricklayer and his female trainee assistant got on with the job without any fuss, and they were very pleasant to deal with. The aim of the project has been delivered and I am very happy with the result. I recommend them. 5 stars!

In total 4 ridge tiles were broken, old tiles kept to show us the fault. New tiles in place and look very good. Extra work requested on the conservatory to fix leaks, still waiting to see if this has worked, but feel confident. A very good job done in the required time.

Had guttering and downpipes replaced. The rafters where they emerge at the bottom of the roof were painted, as well as a shield fitted beneath the lowest roof tiles to prevent water ingress via the existing weathered felting. They were a very reliable and efficient team, taking a lot of care with details. A very satisfied customer and I fully recommend these guys.
