Chris contacted me promptly after putting my job ad and offered his availability straight away. I had solid wood flooring to lay on newly built extension, and it needed to fit the old floor. Chris did a great job, showing great carpentry skills, he worked hard over the weekend so I could have the living room sorted. He is very knowledgeable in his trade, I am very happy with his work and I would highly recommend him. Beata , Stevenage

Bujar was very prompt in response to my initial posting, calling to assess the job within a day and then confirming a start date for the work. He and his team did an excellent job on the hall tiling and also managing the cloakroom plumbing ( moving a sink and toilet) to complete the tiling here. I would highly recommend him and his team for doing a great job.

Michael fitted a velux skylight for us. He was professional, efficient and tidy from start to finish. The install was high quality and I would have no problems recommending him.

I've had a great experience with the guys from Rom-Construct! They did not have the cheapest quote but I'm happy I chose them as they proved they're a well managed team, supplied all the materials and handled all of our requests brilliantly down to the smallest detail! They gave me some really useful advice regarding me bing my washing machine which included the reality of lifting my floor and some kitchen cabinets. I will certainly re contact them again when I have the money together for a full kitchen makeover.. it seems silly to do what I wanted on its own.

Ben was superb. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He laid a floor in our playroom and painted and decorated the interior and exterior of the house. He works very hard throughout the day and his attention to detail was exceptional.Ben goes out of his way to help, I will certainly use him again for future work.

Flavius is an excellent builder - and his team are quick, efficient and professional. Apart from that, I want to say as someone who was completely new to building projects, Flavius was extremely helpful in advising me (as I had no project manager/architect overseeing things) and made the whole process so much better. I am entirely delighted with the resulting space - it is a total transformation! - happy to recommend Flavius and his team to anyone. On time, on budget and an excellent result. 5 stars.

Very professional. Arrived on time, immediately started putting down floor protection from the front door right the way through to the studio room. Said what time they would be finished and actually finished a little early. Did a good job of cleaning up after. And as for the plastering, it’s some of the best I’ve seen! Absolutely fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend them, and would use them again in a heartbeat!

Stanley & his team originally came on board to build us a new rear extension which would house our kitchen as well as fit a new bathroom but as the project developed it ended up being near enough an entire house renovation and we're thrilled with the results. We still have work we would like to do to the outside of the house as well as a loft conversion and when we have enough money to take on those projects, we would definitely re-hire Stanley and his team. Highly recommend Stanley & his team.

One to be careful with is the electrician Ben. The work seems alright, but his advise left us with excessive lighting in Kitchen and sitting room and our decision against TV sockets in ALL rooms was interpreted as NO TV and phone socket at all, which then later had to be added at extra cost and left the choice of suppliers limited. His crew also did the plumbing and the bathroom installation and the later was not done to the general standard of U&U constructions work.

We used TAC Building for a full bathroom renovation. From the moment we met Tom, we were really impressed with his knowledge and experience in the industry. Our bathroom looks amazing, and his whole team worked really hard every day. The quality of the finish and the attention to detail are things that you only find in high end tradespeople, and he is definitely one of those. We have used Tom for other jobs since, and will again in the future. Thank you Tom.
