Other jobs we regularly complete include full loft Conversions and replacement of old roof windows due to them becoming drafty or if they have been fitted for 25 years and over and need a upgrade. Mon Roofing and Building Contractors have been going for near enough 20years. i started up as a roofing and building only buisnes but over the years grew to contracting projects ie extensions , annexes, new builds ext. i have an impressive portfolio and have not used the rated people platform since 2014 . but due to not going for the larger project have now come back on here to look for smaller contracts.
Arwel stood out from the other contractors who applied to do the job because he visited before quoting and made some additional recommendations. He replaced guttering, some loose root tiles and also recommended that we use some protective edging that he also installed. Roof looks great.

CID's quotation was detailed and professionally presented covering all aspects of the work. They communicated in a polite and timely manner as required. The work was carried out expertly with all aspects of health and safety being observed. They treated my home with respect wearing foot coverings to keep the floor clean. They cleaned up any dust and particles created whilst drilling etc was carried out. I am extremely happy with the standard of installation and consider CID to be an excellent contractor.

Initial scheduling and pricing issues arose before starting—including a missed evening appointment without notice, short-notice changes next morning, and a higher quote on a reposted listing. As a result, we didn't proceed. Afterwards, the contractor reached out repeatedly via call, text, and WhatsApp to sincerely apologize and take full responsibility. While we didn't work together, I acknowledge his persistence, accountability, and effort to resolve the situation maturely.

This company was a nightmare to deal with. I have never experienced such amateur and inefficient work. They spent more time getting “ materials “ than actually doing the job. The bathroom renovation should have taken 2 days. Admittedly there were a few unforeseen problems. But basically just taking out and refitting sink and toilet. Their workmen were awful. They took over twice the time they should have. Also they never finished. The bath is still leaking. The sealant finish is amateur
