My partner Sara is a very accomplished designer and painter and decorator. I have worked for the electricity board for many years and have industrial and home electrical nstallation experience. Showers, electric heating, underfloor heating, extra sockets, rewires, lighting, fuse boards, etc My son has just undertaken a 6 week plastering course, and with myself being self trained and helping, I am also trying to build up his business profile We are highly trustworthy and give a very fair price, We do not like or want to rip people off. I am happy to do emergency or weekend work. I also worked as a kitchen/bathroom fitter for John Lewis for a number of years and therefore am very conscientious of the quality of work expected from high-end clients. I also hold certificates in Asbestos awareness Working at heights Lone working First aid I have also had manufacturer training from Oto stairlifts Wessex Lifts Prism medical I also have a clean/current DBS/CRB Check I am a full time Ceiling Track Hoist and Mobility Solutions installation engineer. My day job entails ensuring secure fixings to ceilings and walls. These fixings are secure enough to support people unto 200kg. Due to this role I have developed great experience in making strong fixings, things like shelves, curtain rails and televisions are straight forward now! Im now 31 years old, and hoping to buy a new house with my partner this year, so hope to use this platform to get some evening work to strengthen our deposit! I have put my primary trade as handyman, as although I am an electrician I have been in the trade for a number of years and can turn a hand to most domestic site work. AVOID AT ALL COSTS I can't recommend Tom. Previously TH&Jones Ltd he has changed the company name. He has left us with an extension that doesn't meet building regulations and needs to be taken down. Our house unsalable. I have an independent report to support it. Insufficient foundation, no damp course, insufficient insulation, incorrect installation of roof. He said he would rectify if we paid for 'things unquoted' but failed to show exactly what. We haven't heard from him in months. Stay away!!
